Does ReBound do on-site ImPACT baselines for teams?

Yes, teams can be scheduled for on-site group testing through HeadZone. Please call 203-903-3353 to arrange dates and times.

Your athletes should fill out the following forms prior to arrival for their baseline test.

How much does the ImPACT Test cost?

  • BASELINE TESTING: The fee for supervision, administration, and validity evaluation of ImPACT baseline screening on site is $35/test.
  • POST-INJURY TESTING: Most insurance plans will cover the cost of post-injury ImPACT screening when it is included with the physician’s exam.
How old do you have to be to take the ImPACT test?

ImPACT is currently available for age eleven years and older. A version for age five years and older is planned for release in December 2011.

Can my child or teen be evaluated post-injury by the ReBound physicians?

  • NON-PEDI-CARE PATIENTS: Your child or teen should follow their private physician’s protocol for emergency care. After the patient has received their emergency evaluation by their private physician or emergency room/walk-in, they can then be referred to ReBound for post-injury ImPACT testing and concussion management. Test results and consulting physician recommendations will be forwarded to your child’s private physician.
  • PEDI-CARE PATIENTS: Call our office for emergency advice or for an appointment as soon as possible after your child or teen’s injury (203-924-7334).
